So... it often starts with a phone-call... 'I wonder if you could help...?' - Ending with designing and building all the fittings and fixtures inside a van to accommodate all the equipment and people necessary to do Outside Broadcasts...
Knowing nothing about making television wasn't considered a handicap...
So it began... how to get the kit and the people in... make the
frames/furniture/equipment racking... soundproof the vehicle...
...Needless to say, there was a lot of kit to fit in... but eventually we got to
the stage of making it pretty... with things that lit up, - after the fitting of
a lot of electric string, - which (thankfully) was not part of my remit.
