I can produce most things, - small batch productions, large single reproductions for restoration purposes- Individual designs, - your design - your timber- whatever.   Pricing for turning stair spindles for instance can range from a few pounds upwards; -depending on complexity and number required. These are some examples.

Two 'rather large' posts for a porch - a bit over 7ft each - and the handrail spindles for either side of the posts.

Newel post caps - a special order,- customer designed.

A stack of components for a bed - two long posts, two short posts, and two 'knicker' rails!

A set of stair components for a restoration... with the one original that I was presented with to work from.  The spindles in this case were 1/4in narrower at the top, with the newel following suit..

One end of a fire surround - showing fluted column.
(The fire surround is one of my designs.- very 'Baronial Hall' on this occasion!)

-and in the same house,- reproduction Victorian stair furniture.

Present me with a nasty rotten original, - and I can make you a pretty one just like it used to be.

These are Gable Finials for a Victorian Terrace House.
Just over five feet high.

A Rather large stair... with alternate fluted and spiralled spindles...  two flights and three landings... another 'special' design.

...Another stair... reeded spindles this time, and painted...

Then there were these... newel caps to go on 'rope twist' newels.  No-one makes things like this... or so I am told...

these 'little' things? finishing pieces for 325mm diameter pillars, - to go over a plywood tube at the base and the top.  A bit over 430mm outside diameter, made in MDF to be painted.

door handles are an example of how far I am prepared to go... seen here the basic wood, prepared blank, turned but not decorated handle, the brass sheet for the handle collars, a blank handle collar, and a stack of 'spun' collars ready to fit to the stained and decorated wooden bits.... and on the right, the bits I had to buy.  Spindles and back plates.

Finally, this is what the customer receives; - the finished handles, each drilled and secured with a screw tapped into the spindle, each pair labelled for the thickness of the door it is for.

So, if you are restoring your Castle, or building a new one, -and you have your own ideas about how it ought to look, -I can probably help you to achieve it.
